Canvas Rewards: How to Earn Vouchers for Booking Your Event

A guide to how the Canvas Rewards scheme works, what you can earn, and how to redeem your voucher

Canvas Rewards gives you a shopping voucher every time you book and complete an event through Canvas. There are no points to collect and no balance to track. You book your event, hold it, leave a review, and your voucher is on its way. This article explains how the scheme works, how much you can earn, where you can spend your voucher, and answers the most common questions.

How It Works

The scheme runs in three simple steps.

  1. Book your event with Canvas. Your reward is set the moment your booking is confirmed, based on the value of your event.
  2. Hold your event. Rewards unlock once your event has actually taken place. Nothing is issued beforehand, so if your plans change before the day, neither side loses out. Your voucher amount is issued the day after your event.
  3. Leave a review. Tell us how it went on Google, Reviews.io or Trustpilot. Your voucher follows as soon as your review lands.

💡 Tip: Book through Canvas Concierge and your reward is worth up to 2.5x as much on the same event, because the team handles the shortlisting, negotiating and site visits for you.

Reward Tiers

Your reward depends on the value of your event (venue hire fee, including food and beverage).

Venue hire fee (incl. F&B) Standard reward With Canvas Concierge
£5,000 – £11,999 £50 1.5x → £75
£12,000 – £19,999 £100 1.5x → £150
£20,000 and above £100 2.5x → £250

Vouchers can be spent at any retailer, and you choose which one when your voucher is issued.

⚠️ Important: Your first event needs to be £5,000 or more to qualify. After that, every event you book earns a reward, whatever it costs.

Where You Can Spend Your Voucher

Vouchers can be redeemed at any retailer. Recent vouchers have gone towards brands including:

Lululemon, Amazon, M&S, Topshop, ASOS, John Lewis, Jo Malone London, MAC, Space NK, Charlotte Tilbury, Liberty, Selfridges, Zara, & Other Stories, The White Company, Hotel Chocolat, Neal's Yard, Rituals, Nespresso and IKEA.

You pick your retailer when your voucher is issued.

Giving Back

Every booking made through Canvas sends £5 to YES Charity, regardless of the value of the booking. YES provides vital financial support to sports clubs, youth centres and sports charities in London, helping create safe environments for young people to play, learn and grow. You can find out more at yescharity.org.uk (registered charity no. 1050465).

Important Notes

  • Rewards only unlock once your event has actually taken place. Nothing is issued beforehand.
  • Each booking needs its own review to release its voucher. You can leave it on Google, Reviews.io or Trustpilot, and can spread reviews across platforms if that suits you. Each platform allows one review per person, so that's a maximum of three reviews in total.
  • If your event value sits exactly on a reward threshold, you get the band you've hit, not the one below it. For example, an event at exactly £12,000 earns the £12,000 reward.
  • There's no cap on how many rewards you can earn, and nothing expires. Book ten events and you earn ten vouchers.

Best Practice Tips

💡 Tip: Leave your review as soon as your event has happened so your voucher isn't held up.

💡 Tip: Book through Canvas Concierge if you want to boost your reward multiplier on the same event.

💡 Tip: Keep an eye out for the upcoming rewards app update, which will bring all your vouchers into one place for easy access.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I get my reward? Only after your event has actually taken place. Nothing gets issued beforehand, so if your plans change before the day, neither side loses out.

Do I need to leave a review for every event? Yes, each booking needs its own review to release its voucher. You can leave it on Google, Reviews.io or Trustpilot, and you're welcome to spread them across different platforms if that suits you. Each platform only allows one review per person, so that's a maximum of three in total.

Is there a minimum spend to qualify? Your first event needs to be £5,000 or more. After that, there's no minimum at all.

What happens if my event is exactly on a reward threshold? You get the band you've hit, not the one below it. So an event at exactly £12,000 earns the £12,000 reward.

How do I get my voucher? One of the Canvas team will be in touch to let you know as soon as your booking is logged, or you can reach out directly via the contact us section to check in. An update is also in progress that will bring all your rewards into one place in an app, for easy access.

Is there a limit to how many rewards I can earn, or do they expire? No cap, and nothing expires mid-year. Book ten events and you earn ten vouchers.

Can I choose where the donation goes? Canvas has partnered with YES, a charity supporting young people in London (yescharity.org.uk). For every booking logged, £5 is donated to them, regardless of the value of the booking.
