To help reduce unnecessary emails and keep inboxes clear, the system will only send email notifications when you are offline. Here's how it works and what you can do to check everything is working correctly.

Canvas uses smart logic to reduce notification overload.
If you’re actively logged in to your account, the system detects that you’re online and will:

Display messages in your dashboard in real-time

Not send an email notification (since you’re already active)
This helps cut down on inbox clutter—especially for high-traffic venues.

You can try this quick test:

Log out of your Canvas dashboard

You should receive the response via email (as you're now marked as offline)

Log back in to continue working from the dashboard
